Olivia @writeswrongs and I have been unemployed and looking for work. Our benefits did not come in until the end of month. It wasn’t enough to cover our expenses including rent. Olivia had a few interviews and I have seasonal employment but have been looking for gigs in the meantime.
We are a queer and trans multiracial couple living in Portland, OR with our young dog Karl Barx. We are writers, theorists, organizers and artists struggling to make ends meet.
We really hate to ask the community for help but we can’t meet our rent this month, we tried to make things work but we’re an impasse and would really appreciate any help we receive.

We hate to be in this position to still be waiting on unemployment. As some of you know Phoenix @chrisdornerfanclub and I were both laid off at the end of May and are both hunting for work and waiting on unemployment. Our applications have yet to be responded to by the state and our bills are stacking up. We are grateful for any support we get at all as we wait for a response from the Oregon Unemployment Department.
